There's a reason you see more and more canoes tied down with web straps these days rather than lines. Canoe straps are a lot easier to use and just as strong or stronger. No knots to worry about holding tight. No knots to cuss at trying to get them untied. Straps lay flat and distribute their tension on the canoe more evenly because they are less prone to cut into the canoe like a round rope.  Straps are also much easier to use when your hands are wet and cold. Polypro web will not stretch when wet. Heavy-duty cam buckles hold securely with an attached buckle protecter. 15' length is long enough to hold just about any canoe or a wide variety of other cargo as well.

Unlike those "no-no" el-cheapo ratchet straps that EVERYBODY shows up with at Red Rock, bonafide canoes straps like these are infinitely adjustable and never one click too tight or one click too loose like those ratchet-style straps.

You have a nice canoe.  Why do you want to take a chance denting your gunwales or putting a kink in the hull with straps that are made to tie down motorcycles to trailers?  Get a two canoe straps and do the job right!

Price is for one strap.  If you have two load bars on your roof or four doors on your car, you need two of these straps to do a good job hauling.

Product may vary slightly from the picture.  We recommend two straps for each canoe.
